Welcome to Cambourne Balkan Dance Club, a friendly folk dance circle located in the Greater Cambridge Area. If you are interested in trying out Balkan country dance, then this is the place for you.
Balkan folk dances originate from the southeastern countries of Europe and are known for their energetic and intricate steps, lively music, and circular formations. These dances are enjoyed by people of all ages and genders, and they are often performed during social and joyful occasions.
Every Sunday, amateur enthusiasts gather in Cambourne, near Cambridge, to practise the dances and have fun together. The current dance repertoire includes a variety of dances from Bulgaria and Greece. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn easy and basic dances or an intermediate dancer interested in more complex and quick dances, we have something for everyone.
The club is open to all, and everyone is welcome. No prior dance experience is necessary, and you don't need to bring a partner. Just come with an open mind and a desire to have a good time.

Please note that the club is not open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. Our opening hours are on Sundays from 5:10pm to 7:40pm.
