Rocky Mountain, located in the northwest of Calgary near the Calgary Olympic Park Ski Hill, boasts walls up to 65 feet high, a dedicated speed wall, bouldering area, ClimbPark, and a pro shop. The facility also offers workout areas and is open from early morning to late night, accommodating climbers with busy schedules.
Chinook, the first gym of the Calgary Climbing Centre, features 160 feet of bouldering terrain, a Kilter Board, Session Wall, auto-belays, free weights, change rooms, lockers, and a retail shop. The facility is spacious and can accommodate crowds even on busy nights, providing climbers with a comfortable and welcoming environment to practice their skills.
Hanger, with its bouldering terrain and climbing angles on 40-foot walls, offers a great community for climbers. The facility also features amenities such as free weights, stationary bikes, change rooms, lockers, showers, and a full retail store. Hanger is located within the Hanger location, offering an original climbing experience not found anywhere else in the city.
Stronghold, located just north of the downtown core, is best known for its long routes and great location. The facility offers challenges on 40-foot walls, 4 auto-belays, a Moonboard, retail shop, free weights, stationary bike, change rooms, and lockers. Stronghold provides climbers with a wide selection of challenges that are constantly changing, ensuring an exciting and dynamic climbing experience.
SoCal Bouldering, the newest addition to the Calgary Climbing Centre family, is located in South Calgary and is open to climbers aged 7 and up. The facility offers 100 boulder problems across steep, vert, and slab terrain, with new problems set weekly to keep climbers engaged and progressing in their skills. The facility also provides amenities such as a pro shop, workout area, and outdoor climbing wall for climbers to enjoy.
