The Cadet Club at Teamworks Northampton: Karting – Simulator Racing is the place to be for all the young racers out there! This club is specifically designed for participants under 16 years old who are looking to develop their skills in a safe environment.
Every Sunday morning, our Birmingham (West), East Midlands, Letchworth, York, and Northampton venues come alive with the sound of kart engines revving and the excitement of junior drivers ready to hit the track. With our experienced circuit team guiding them every step of the way, these young racers can enjoy a full two hours of karting fun.
Here at Teamworks Northampton: Karting – Simulator Racing, we believe in giving our young drivers plenty of track time without exhausting them. That's why we have a roll on roll off format, allowing them to take breaks between races to avoid fatigue. We want to make sure they have the energy to keep racing and enjoying every moment.
The Cadet Club is not only a thrilling experience, but it's also a fantastic introduction to the world of karting. It's a chance for these young drivers to learn the ropes, hone their skills, and have a great time with their fellow racing enthusiasts.

Now, let's talk age and height requirements. In our Birmingham City venue, participants must be at least 8 years old and have a height of 147 cm to enjoy both laser tag and driving simulators. As for Birmingham (West), Letchworth, East Midlands, Northampton, and York venues, the minimum age is also 8 years old, and the minimum height is 125 cm for karting or laser tag.
For our younger participants under 12 years old who are eager to try out the laser or driving simulators, remember that they must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18. Safety is our priority, and having a responsible adult around ensures that everyone has a great time while being looked after.
Please note that for kart drivers under 16 years old, it is mandatory to have a responsible adult over the age of 18 accompanying them. We want to make sure that our young drivers are not only safe but also supported throughout their racing experience.
