Cachalot Charters is excitedly looking forward to the 2024 season after the challenges faced in 2023 due to inclement weather. Fish catches showed improvement, with Mackerel being abundant for most of the year, starting after Easter. Rays were caught and released in great numbers, with one Male Thornback Ray being tagged and recaptured in the North Sea, proving the effectiveness of the tagging scheme for conservation efforts. Tope and Smoothhounds were also plentiful, providing thrilling fishing experiences.
The charter remains hopeful for Cod catches this winter, despite the weather affecting trips.
Book your fishing adventure with Cachalot Charters and enjoy a fantastic day at sea, surrounded by breathtaking views and the excitement of reeling in your catch.
