

Byron Boxing is a personal training service located in the beautiful coastal town of Byron Bay. The aim of Byron Boxing is to help individuals develop their fitness, body composition, coordination, speed, confidence, resilience, and overall wellbeing. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced boxer, Byron Boxing offers group boxing classes and individual training sessions to cater to your specific needs and goals.
Group classes at Byron Boxing are a fantastic way to kickstart your day and improve your boxing skills in a safe, social, and supportive environment. These classes are not only cost-effective but also provide an opportunity to build your fitness while having fun. The women's class takes place on Tuesdays from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM, while the mixed class is held on Thursdays at 6:30 AM.
If you're interested in training with Byron Boxing, signing up for a group class is the way to go. Although their regular one-on-one training slots are currently full, they do occasionally have cancellations, and by adding your details to the waitlist, you will be contacted if a spot becomes available.
Training sessions take place at the Byron Bay Memorial Rec Grounds. Byron Boxing offers various types of training, including one-on-one and small group sessions, as well as the Tuesday morning women's group class and the Thursday morning mixed class. If you don't have your own gear, Byron Boxing can provide gloves, pads, and wraps/liners for you to borrow.
The founder and trainer of Byron Boxing is Sam Jackson. With a passion for working with people and extensive experience in both boxing and teaching, Sam combines these skills to design personalised training programmes and motivate individuals to achieve their goals. As a qualified teacher with 20 years of experience, Sam understands how individuals learn and employs effective teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
Sam has trained under numerous experienced coaches, including Commonwealth Games boxers and professional athletes. Drawing from this valuable knowledge, Sam tailors their methods to target specific strengths and training needs, ensuring each client receives a personalised training experience.
Byron Boxing also offers an Ultimate Training Package called Level Up. This package includes a one-on-one boxing session per week, video analysis of your session to improve technique, a personalised training programme based on your goals and preferences, and weekly check-ins to track your progress and address any questions you may have.
