Bursted Hill Stables is a third generation, family-run equestrian centre located in the heart of Kent, England. Nestled in the picturesque Pett Bottom valley, just five miles south of Canterbury, the stables offer a range of horse riding services for both adults and children, catering to beginners and advanced riders alike.

With decades of experience in caring for horses, Bursted Hill Stables prides itself on providing a personal and friendly approach to every rider's experience. The stables are fully licenced by the Canterbury City Council and are also an approved Pony Club centre.

The stables boast a varied selection of well-trained horses and ponies, suitable for riders of all ages and abilities. Many of these horses have enjoyed successful competition careers before finding their place within the riding school. The instructors at Bursted Hill Stables, Becky and Freya, have played a key role in the training and development of these horses.

Facilities at Bursted Hill Stables include a floodlit all-weather indoor arena, as well as a larger outdoor arena for riding lessons. Riders can also explore the surrounding countryside on hacks and treks. In addition, the stables offer a range of special activities throughout the year, such as beach rides, cross country hire, in-house dressage competitions, show jumping, and gallop track hire. These activities provide riders at all levels with new and exciting experiences to enhance their skills and enjoyment of horse riding.

Bursted Hill Stables is also an approved pony club centre, allowing riders to experience the joys and responsibilities of horse care without the commitment or expense of owning their own horse or pony.

The staff at Bursted Hill Stables are not only chosen for their qualifications and experience, but also for their passion and love for horses. All staff members are DBS checked and first-aid trained, ensuring the highest level of safety and care for riders.
