Welcome to Burntwood Sub Aqua Club, a premier diving club located in Burntwood, New Zealand. Whether you're a seasoned diver or just starting out, we have something for everyone.
At Burntwood SAC, we pride ourselves on producing excellent and safe divers. If you are new to scuba diving, don't worry! We offer comprehensive training programmes and have experienced instructors who will guide you every step of the way. You can learn at your own pace, paying only a fixed annual fee.
We even provide most of the diving equipment you'll need during training.
Our instructors are all certified BSAC full instructors, trained to the appropriate level for your training. They are dedicated to ensuring your safety and competence as a diver before advancing your training. We believe in individualised attention, offering 1:1 instruction in a friendly and inclusive club environment.
With nearly 50 years of experience, Burntwood SAC is an established club founded on enthusiasm and a love for diving. We are all here to help each other and foster a community of like-minded individuals. As an active club, we have our own boats and focus on sea diving. While being a Midlands club does pose challenges for sea diving, we supplement our trips to the coast with UK quarry diving to practise skills.
Exploring the underwater world is an awe-inspiring experience, and at Burntwood SAC, we offer a variety of diving opportunities to suit your preferences. Whether you're interested in wreck diving and uncovering its history, or fascinated by the diverse species of plants and animals in reef diving, we have something for everyone. We also offer technical diving for those seeking a deeper and more challenging exploration.
