Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket Club, also known as BWCUCC, is a highly esteemed cricket club located in Christchurch, New Zealand. With a proud history that dates back to its establishment in 1905, the club has become a beloved institution in the local cricket community.

Situated at the picturesque Burnside Oval in the heart of Christchurch's North West, BWCUCC offers a wide range of cricket playing, coaching, and development opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels.

University students studying in Christchurch have the opportunity to join the club's university cricket programme. Burnside Oval became the home of university cricketers in Canterbury when the West Christchurch University Club merged with the Burnside Cricket Club in 1972.

BWCUCC is also a hub for developing players through its North West Youth Cricket programme. This programme offers playing and coaching opportunities for high school-aged players in Years 9 to 13.

For those who simply want to play cricket without the competitiveness, the club offers social afternoon grade cricket. Whether it's a 40-over match or a short Twenty20 game, there is something for everyone.
