Burlington School of Classical Ballet is dedicated to providing the community of Burlington with the opportunity to study classical ballet in the Russian tradition using the Vaganova method of teaching. The school offers a range of classes for students of all ages, including Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pointe, Adult Ballet, and Repertoire, starting from age 4 and up. Students from the age of 6 are also involved in annual exams, allowing them to track their progress and growth.
Founded by the esteemed Jolanta Mazur, who received her training at the State Ballet School in Poznan, Poland, the Burlington School of Classical Ballet has been providing high-quality ballet education for over 30 years. Mrs. Mazur's experience as a principal dancer in various ballets, along with her teaching and choreographing background, ensures that students receive top-notch instruction and guidance in their ballet studies.
As the only non-profit ballet organization in Burlington, the Burlington School of Classical Ballet is committed to bringing the art of ballet to the community. Through their annual performances of “The Nutcracker” and a Spring performance, students have the opportunity to showcase their skills and talent on stage.
