Dance, and stage, including my teaching qualifications in all disciplines. Throughout my dancing career, I have performed in numerous shows, festivals, and competitions, with highlights including performing at Disneyland Paris and dancing in the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.

After taking a break from dance to focus on my career in marketing, I rediscovered my love for dance and decided to combine it with my passion for empowering women. This led me to create BURLEDANCE, a dance company in Wokingham dedicated to making Burlesque accessible to all women, regardless of their age, size, shape, or ability.

At BURLEDANCE, our mission is to help women build their confidence, find their inner goddess, and get fit while having fun. We believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful and embrace her femininity. Our classes are designed to help women appreciate their bodies and rediscover their sensuality through specialised steps and core moves that tone muscles while exploring their femininity.

Burlesque is a low-impact form of dance, making it suitable for women of all fitness levels. We encourage our students to wear anything they feel comfortable in, as long as they can move their hips and bend their knees with ease. Leggings, loose skirts or shorts with tights, and tracksuit bottoms are popular choices, and we recommend wearing shoes with a comfortable heel that you can walk in. However, if you're not used to high heels, you can start with a lower pair with a thicker heel or bring flats to change into.

Our beginner classes introduce participants to tracing, peeling, walking, posing, and core moves that will have them moving and feeling sexy in no time. While the focus is on having fun, students will also tone their hips, waist, thighs, and other parts of their body while boosting their confidence. We also provide opportunities to work with props and learn routines that can be taken to the stage or simply enjoyed in private.

For those looking to take their Burlesque skills to the next level, our intermediate class is available. Here, students will refine their performance skills and learn advanced routines to perform alongside our Velvet Coquettes.
