Burledance, the local Contemporary Dance club in Wokingham, is excited to invite interested dancers to their upcoming event. Held on Tuesday evenings, these Burledance classes take place in the room at the far end of the Pinewood Bar & Café, which is accessed through the main bar area.
This class is open to all ladies over the age of 18, regardless of their age, size, or ability. So, whether you're a seasoned dancer or have never danced before, you're more than welcome to join in on the fun. In this class, you'll learn core moves and prop work that are sure to keep you engaged and entertained. It's a great way to have some fun, get some exercise, or even enhance your performance skills. Plus, even if you have no intention of dancing on stage, the moves you'll learn can help you build confidence, boost self-esteem, and make you feel sexy. And let's not forget that walking taller and feeling better about yourself can have a positive impact on both your work and personal life.
It's worth noting that this class is exclusively for ladies, so male partners will need to find somewhere else to hang out during the session. Teenage girls aged 15-17 are welcome to attend with parental permission, but please be aware that their participation in performances may be restricted depending on the age limits set by the venue.
In terms of dress code, there isn't a specific requirement, as long as your movements aren't restricted. However, wearing heels is encouraged, as they can help with posture and make you feel more confident and sexy. It's not mandatory though, so feel free to wear comfortable shoes and bring flats if you're not used to wearing high heels. Shoes with straps are recommended, but you can also use ribbons or hairbands to secure them.
All the necessary props for the class will be provided, but if you prefer to practice with your own, you can purchase them from BURLEDANCE. Just ask for details during the class, and they'll be happy to assist you.
The cost for each class is £10 per week, with no need for advance bookings. Alternatively, you have the option to block book 4 classes in advance for a total of £36 (£9 per week). The price covers the entire evening, regardless of how long you choose to stay. Payments can be made in cash, through PayPal, or via BACS transfer.

- Tuesday 8.30pm – 10pm: Dance routines for performance or simply for fun
