Burdekin Road Runners and Walkers Club

The Burdekin Road Runners and Walkers Club is a sports club located in the Burdekin Shire, Australia. The event attracts running enthusiasts from all over the region, including Cairns, Ingham, Townsville, Whitsundays, and Mackay.

Participants in the Burdekin Sugar Rush can choose from a range of distances, including a half-marathon (21 km), five and ten kilometre fun runs, and a pram push event for families. Many participants join for the personal challenge, the vibrant community atmosphere, and the opportunity to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle.

To become a member of the Burdekin Road Runners and Walkers Club, individuals can sign up for the club's annual membership. Adult membership fees are $40, while juniors (16 years and under, with supervision) can join for $25.
