Welcome to the Bunbu Dojo Karate School, a traditional and full-time professional karate school located in South Nottingham. With multiple locations in West Bridgford, East Bridgford, Cotgrave, Radcliffe, and Ladybay, we are ready to accept new members who are looking to learn martial arts in Rushcliffe.
Founded in August 2009, the Bunbu Dojo Karate School aims to deliver high-level technical karate classes that are appropriate for all ages and affordable for everyone. We work with JKS Japan to provide legitimate, high-level traditional Shotokan Karate to anyone who wishes to learn.
Currently, we teach just over 200 students, primarily focusing on traditional karate. However, we also cover programmes in grappling, fitness, and weaponry. Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels of experience and fitness, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and challenged in their training.
In addition to our regular classes, we offer a variety of additional programmes and events. We have a regular social calendar, providing opportunities for students to connect and engage with each other outside of class. We also run SQUAD programmes for those who wish to compete and further their training.
Our timetable offers classes Monday to Saturday, allowing students to find a schedule that works for them. Whether you are a beginner starting your martial arts journey or an experienced practitioner, we have classes suitable for all levels.
