Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu School is a renowned sports club located in Melbourne, Australia. With a focus on the practical application of forms, the school offers training in Choy Lay Fut, a style of Kung Fu that combines Southern and Northern Styles of Chinese Martial Arts.

Introduced to Australia by Sifu David Lacey, a highly respected figure in Chinese Martial Arts circles, Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu School is one of only two schools in Australia officially affiliated with Master Lacey. Sifu Gary Mallia, one of Master Lacey's trusted disciples, is a certified 5th generation Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut master, with over 20 years of experience instructing students.

The training at Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu School covers a variety of aspects, including practical instruction of Buk Sing philosophies and applications, combat techniques and tactics, partner drills, sparring, and Kung Fu forms including the use of weapons and wooden dummy training. Sifu Gary Mallia believes in the power of effort and aims to improve his students' self-confidence, ability to defend against various opponents, physical fitness, and overall well-being through his instruction.

The school is conveniently located at 74 Melville Road, Brunswick West, in proximity to the Northern and Western suburbs of Melbourne. Students from all over Melbourne, including Mornington Peninsula and Greensborough, attend the classes. Training sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, catering to all age groups, genders, and backgrounds.

The classes at Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu School maintain a small class size to ensure a high degree of pastoral care. The teaching environment is non-violent and non-threatening, emphasising humility and respect. The dress code consists of gym shoes, a T-shirt (preferably black), and long black martial arts pants (shorts are acceptable initially).

To join the school, there is a joining fee which includes the cost of a Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut training shirt, as well as a monthly instruction fee. There are no grading or other ongoing fees.
