If you're looking to dive into martial arts, Bujinkan Cotswold Dojo in Cirencester might be just the place for you. Run by Joe Watson, who has over 30 years of experience, this dojo welcomes everyone, whether you're a newbie or have plenty of practice under your belt.
Joe's journey into Bujinkan martial arts began in 1993 after a back injury, and he's learned a lot since then, even attending seminars with Grand Master Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. In 2010, he went to Japan to hone his skills further. Now, he's sharing his expertise not only through classes but also via a book he's writing.
Classes take place at Cotswold Estates and Gardens Ltd, with sessions every Monday from 19:00 to 21:00. Your first session is free, so you can see if it's your thing. After that, it's £10 per session, and all fees go back into improving the dojo.
For more information, you can contact Joe and the team at 07511790898 or budocirencester@gmail.com. You can also find them at Baunton Lane in Cirencester (use the What3Words address "sharpness.wisdom.released" to get there easily).
