Run by a team of experienced and talented instructors, Buckingham Dance Studios offers a diverse range of subjects, including RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern, Contemporary, Commercial Jazz, ISTD Tap and Jazz, Freestyle Street Dance/Hip Hop, BBO Tap, Musical Theatre Workshop/Singing, and Vocal training. Students have the opportunity to take examinations in these disciplines if they choose to.
In addition to regular classes, Buckingham Dance Studios also organises special events and workshops. One notable event is the BDS Summer School, held annually in August. This week-long intensive programme includes classes in Ballet repertoire, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acro, and body conditioning. At the end of the week, parents can enjoy a performance by the students, followed by a barbecue on Preston beach.
