BS Wellbeing, based at The Commando Temple in Deptford, London, is run by Ben Savin, a coach for mental and physical wellbeing. Ben offers personalised training that focuses on a range of movement patterns and disciplines.
Ben's training approach includes lifting, spinning bags and meels, rowing, yoga, and strongman exercises. He believes in training smart, eating smart, and having fun, regardless of background, struggles, gender, or sexuality. He promotes the mental and physical benefits of training for everyone.
As a powerlifter, Ben has competed in events like the LGBT championship in Blackpool (2019) and the Static Monsters worldwide strongman competition (2021). He regularly holds LGBTQ+ strongman/woman/person workshops and will be hosting a queer strength competition in September.
The Commando Temple gym, where Ben trains his clients, is well-known and frequented by famous strongmen like Terry Hollands, Brian Shaw, and Eddie Hall. Ben uses his experience in endurance, bodyweight training, powerlifting, strongman, and psychology to improve his clients' overall wellbeing.
BS Wellbeing services include 1:1 training and workshops called "Pride in Strength" for the LGBTQ+ community. Clients can also participate in the queer strength competition in September. Ben emphasises movement and injury rehab, aiming to help clients develop strength and have fun.
BS Wellbeing creates a supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community to engage in strongman events. Led by Ben Savin, clients can expect personalised programmes, workshops, and competitive opportunities, all focused on enhancing both physical and mental health.
