Whether you're looking for friendly galas, leagues, county or regional competitions, or even the British national championships, there is something for everyone. The club believes that every swimmer is important and ensures that all members are included in fixtures.
The club's history is rich, with a notable period of success under the guidance of head coach Lee Stanbury. During his tenure, Brockworth Swimming Club made significant advances. Within just two years, swimmers were participating in the County Championships and earning medals. By the third year, swimmers were qualifying for the South-West Regional Championships.
In the fourth year, the club had national standard swimmers and even made it to the A final of the Cotswold League. In the 2003/2004 season, the club was runners up in the Cotswold League and made it to the A final of the Speedo League. In its sixth year under Lee's guidance, Brockworth SC became champions of Speedo League Division Three and were promoted to Division Two. The club also excelled in the Cotswold League, coming in first place, and had a record number of swimmers entering the South-West Regional Championships.
In 2005, Nigel Garraway took over as head coach, and although there were challenges such as the closure of Brockworth Sports Centre, the club managed to prevail and continue its operations. Thanks to the dedication and perseverance of everyone involved, the club remained strong and eventually reopened in February 2007.
Brockworth Swimming Club offers various training sessions throughout the week. Pre-swim sessions are held on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Swim development sessions are held on the same days and times as the pre-swim sessions. There are also specific training sessions for the junior and senior squads.
