Welcome to Broadway Cricket Club, located in Orpington, Kent. Founded in 1982 in Catford, South East London, we are a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club that welcomes players of all ages and abilities.
We are proud to play our matches at the Orpington Cricket Club's ground, which is situated at Westcombe Park Rugby Club. The location provides a picturesque setting for both players and spectators, with well-maintained grounds and facilities.
At Broadway Cricket Club, we have a strong focus on promoting the enjoyment of the game and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all. Whether you're a seasoned cricketer or new to the sport, our club provides a supportive environment where you can improve your skills and meet new people who share a passion for cricket.
Throughout the season, our various teams take part in matches against other local clubs. We have a Sunday 1st XI team, as well as a Touring XI team that competes in friendly matches. The results of our matches are regularly updated on our website, allowing members and supporters to stay up-to-date with the team's performance.
We take pride in our team's achievements, and our Hall of Fame showcases the top performers in batting and bowling. Harry Board currently holds the title of the top run-scorer, with 220 runs, and also achieved the highest individual score of 103×. Alex Wilkinson has recorded the most fifties, with one under his belt.
