Broad Haven Buccaneers Lifesaving Club is a beach lifesaving club located in the beautiful town of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Our club is dedicated to providing children between the ages of 8 and 15 years with a fun and fitness-focused environment where they can learn and develop vital safety, survival, first aid, and lifesaving skills.
At Broad Haven Buccaneers, we believe that educating children about water safety is of utmost importance. Our experienced and qualified instructors are here to guide and mentor young lifesavers, teaching them essential techniques that can save lives. Through a combination of classroom lessons, practical exercises, and regular training sessions, we ensure that our junior members are well-equipped to handle any water-based emergency.
In addition to our youth programme, we also offer sea safety sessions specifically tailored for adult cold water swimmers. These sessions focus on increasing participants' awareness of potential hazards in the ocean, teaching them strategies to stay safe and providing instruction on how to react effectively in the event of an emergency.
Broad Haven Buccaneers Lifesaving Club prides itself on its dedication to fostering a sense of community, teamwork, and personal growth among its members. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where children can build their self-confidence, develop strong bonds with their fellow lifesavers, and enjoy the thrill of learning and achieving together.
