Aissa started his Karate training in Algeria in the early 80s and has since achieved multiple dan ranks, including 3rd dan JKA under Shotokan Keniosuke Enoeda Sensei, and 4th dan JKA under Sensei Mashiko Tanaka in Japan. He has represented Algeria in international competitions and has won titles such as Arab Champion CARO 1994 and 1st place African Champion Harare '95.
Upon moving to the UK in 1995, Aissa joined the famous SKC Marshal St under Sensei Enoeda and continued to excel in his Karate journey. He has achieved numerous accolades, including winning the Enoeda trophy for fighting spirit in '99, 3rd place at JKA Individual Europe Championship in 2000, and being the JKA E team captain and world champion in Tokyo, Japan in 2004. Aissa's dedication and passion for Karate is evident in his teaching methods and his ability to mentor and guide students towards success.
Assisting Aissa in training the students is Yassine Adjadj, the deputy instructor at AKA. Yassine has been training in Karate for 15 years and has achieved a second-degree black belt. He has also competed in various Karate competitions, with his notable accomplishment being a European championship. Alongside his training, Yassine has utilised his Karate skills to become a full-contact MMA fighter, showcasing the practicality and effectiveness of the techniques taught at AKA.
