Tom Hughes invites all sports enthusiasts to join Bristol South Taekwondo – Hengrove! Located at the modern Hengrove Park Leisure Centre in Bristol, this long-standing martial arts club has been part of the community since 1993.
Classes are every Monday and Wednesday, hosted in Hengrove Park Leisure Centre's top-notch facilities. The centre, at The Boulevard, Hengrove Park, Bristol BS14 0JZ, is easily accessible with plenty of parking.
Tom's black belt instructors bring exceptional skill and passion to every session. Many have been with the club since the beginning, ensuring a rich tradition and a seamless training experience.
Originally at Whitchurch Community Centre, the club moved to Hengrove Park Leisure Centre in 2012, offering students access to a 150-station gym and a 50-metre swimming pool. Training takes place on spacious badminton courts, providing a comfortable environment.
Classes balance rigorous physical training with a friendly atmosphere, fostering camaraderie among members. Children’s sessions run from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by adult training from 6:10 pm to 7:25 pm – perfect for all ages.
Directions are straightforward: from the Hartcliffe roundabout, head towards Whitchurch along Whitchurch Lane, then left into Hengrove Park at the traffic lights. The leisure centre is straight ahead with ample parking available.
