Mike, the organiser, here with some exciting news about the Bristol South Swimming Pool. This iconic spot, swimming strong since 1931, sits right in the heart of Bristol, housed in a beautiful Grade 2 Listed building.

The pool itself is a lengthy 30.5 metres, perfect for a good swim session, whether you're training for the next big competition or just here for a leisurely splash. It’s a place where everyone from beginners to seasoned swimmers can feel right at home.

One of the standout features? The award-winning swimming lessons. Running three days a week, these sessions cater to all ages and abilities. Mike reckons the fully-qualified teachers are some of the best around, dedicated to helping every student make a splash and improve their skills at their own pace.

Beyond the pool, there's a nifty multipurpose room up for grabs. Perfect for children’s parties or meetings, it’s a flexible space that adds a bit more sparkle to the community hub vibe.

Thanks to their partnership with Everyone Active, Bristol South Swimming Pool has a variety of memberships and pricing options, plus some handy extras like a retail area and a cycle park. And for those keen to take it up a notch, they’re also a National Pool Lifeguard Training Centre, offering top-notch training courses throughout the year.
