For those wanting to do laps, the 50m outdoor pool with eight lanes is the perfect spot. This pool is heated to a comfortable 26 degrees, ensuring year-round enjoyment. There is also a 25m outdoor pool with 15 lanes, heated to 28 degrees, for swimmers who prefer a smaller pool with more lanes.
If you are looking to learn to swim, we have an enclosed 20m pool dedicated to lessons. This pool is heated to a cosy 32 degrees, making it ideal for swimmers of all ages to build confidence and improve their skills.
For families with young children, our recreational area with water play and fountains is a popular choice. Kids can splash around in the mushroom wading pool or enjoy the interactive water features, providing hours of fun in a safe environment.
Operating hours at Brisbane City Council Pool - Yeronga Park Pool are designed to cater to early birds and night owls alike. During summer (September – April), the pool is open from Monday to Thursday, 5:00am – 7:30pm, and on Friday, 5:00am – 6:00pm. On weekends, the pool is open from 5:30am – 6:30pm on Saturday and 7:00am – 1:00pm on Sunday. Public holidays have slightly adjusted hours, with the pool open from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Please note that the pool is closed on Good Friday, ANZAC Day, and Christmas Day.
