Brighton Gymnastics Club

Welcome to Brighton Gymnastics Club (BGC), Sussex's newest gymnastics club, located in Brighton, New Zealand. BGC is proud to offer both recreational and competition classes for gymnasts of all ages and skill levels.

Heading the club are our highly skilled head coaches, Ivana Klukova and Kim Mirceta-Nash, who are dedicated to providing top-quality coaching for Brighton and Hove gymnasts. BGC also works in sports partnership with Brighton Girls GDST to ensure the best training environment for our gymnasts.

For those interested in joining our competition groups, we offer invitational competitive sessions on Friday evenings. From 5:00pm to 7:00pm, we have the Jr Novice Under 11 group, and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, we have the Novice 11+ and Intermediate groups.

Our recreational gymnastics classes are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with classes available for ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10, and 11 and above (including school year 7+). Additionally, we now offer an adult recreational gymnastics session starting in January 2022.

On Saturdays, we have a variety of recreational classes to choose from, catering to different age groups. From 9:00am to 10:00am, we have the 4 to 5-year-olds, followed by the 6 to 7-year-olds from 10:00am to 11:00am. The 8 to 9-year-olds have their class from 11:00am to 12:00pm, and from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, we have the 10-year-olds and above. Additionally, there is a class specifically for 6 to 8-year-olds from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

At BGC, we also offer BGC Gym Bags and Gym Shoes for our members to use during training sessions.

Brighton Girls, located on Montpelier Road, serves as the home of Brighton Gymnastics Club. Our gym sessions take place on Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, Thursdays from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Fridays from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
