Brighton Soccer Club Fields offers a fantastic local activity for soccer enthusiasts in Melbourne. This initiative, provided by Brighton Soccer Club, is known as the U5-U7 Joeyroos Program. Tailored specifically for children between the ages of 4 and 7, this program aims to introduce them to the joy of football, regardless of their abilities.
Since 2007, Brighton Soccer Club has been organising this fun-filled event. The season kicks off in April and runs all the way through to September. And guess what? It all takes place on Saturday mornings, making it the perfect way to start off your weekend.
To ensure the safety of all participants, it is mandatory for players to wear shin guards during the games. Additionally, we strongly recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the intense matches. We prioritise the wellbeing of our players, making their experience both enjoyable and safe.
At Brighton Soccer Club, we are lucky to have passionate and dedicated volunteers who step up to be coaches for the Joeyroos Program. Most of these amazing individuals are qualified to the required Football Victoria level for this age group. They are the ones who make this program possible and contribute to the success of our club.
