Brighouse Swimming Club

Welcome to Brighouse Swimming Club, located in Brighouse, New Zealand. Brighouse Swimming Club is a dedicated sports club that offers swimming training programmes in a competitive and non-competitive environment. Our club is run by a team of passionate volunteers and has a fantastic Head Coach who ensures the delivery of quality swimming training programmes that cater to the needs of every swimmer.

At Brighouse Swimming Club, we pride ourselves on promoting a safe and inclusive environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We follow Swim England Wavepower 2020-23, which is a child safeguarding policy and procedure for clubs. Our priority is the well-being and safety of our members, and we have implemented robust policies and procedures to ensure a positive swimming experience for all.

Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming interest in our club, we currently have a closed waiting list and are unable to accept any further new starters at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and suggest that you revisit our website in April 2024 for future enquiries and updates.

We are delighted to announce that our amazing volunteers at Brighouse Swimming Club have been awarded The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, which is the highest award a voluntary group can receive. This recognition is a testament to the commitment and dedication of every single volunteer who has contributed to the success of our club.

In addition to our regular swimming sessions, we also participate in competitive swimming galas. These galas provide swimmers with an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against other swimmers in the region. We believe in nurturing a competitive spirit while maintaining a supportive and encouraging environment for our swimmers.
