Matt at Bridlington Bay Bowling Club has got it all sorted for you. Nestled in the lush gardens of Sewerby Hall, it's the perfect spot for a game of lawn bowls. They welcome everyone, whether you're a regular at another Crown Green Bowling Club or just visiting Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
League matches run throughout the week and are open to both club members and visitors. If you're up for some fun, join their Friday Bowls Drive—just £2 gets you in for three games of drawn pairs. When winter rolls around, park entry is free and they even throw in some tea and biscuits.
For those keen to get into Crown Green Bowling, Matt organises taster sessions now and then. Just a small fee, and you get to play with loaner bowls and a “jack.” Don't forget your flat-soled shoes to keep that green in top shape.
Fancy a bit of putting? They've got a neat 18-hole putting green too. Grab a putter and ball from them, and for a small fee, you're good to go. Scorecards are available if you want to keep track of how you did.
