Welcome to Bridgefield Archers! Founded in 1984 in the Bridgefield Forum Sports and Leisure Complex, we are the only Archery GB affiliated Archery club in Knowsley. Although the Forum was demolished in 2002, the club found its new home in the Halewood Leisure Centre and continues to flourish.
Bridgefield Archers is a friendly club that caters to archers of different disciplines, including Recurve, Barebow, and Longbow. We offer year-round indoor target shooting at a distance of 20 yards. During the summer months, we also have the option for outdoor target shooting, with distances of up to 60 yards.
Whether you're a complete beginner or simply want to try archery, our club has something for everyone. We encourage those interested in taking up archery to get in touch with us to discuss or book onto one of our beginners courses. No prior experience is required, as all equipment is provided. However, please note that juniors must be at least 10 years old and physically strong enough to handle the equipment safely.
Experienced archers with a valid Archery GB membership are also welcome to use our range, subject to availability and a small range fee. If you're an experienced archer looking for a place to practise, don't hesitate to contact us to arrange a visit and discuss the best time to come.
