Bradwell Sports

Located in the heart of the stunning Peak District, Bradwell Sports Club offers a wide range of sporting facilities and activities for all to enjoy. Established in 1947 with the goal of providing sport for all, the club continues to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment. There are no membership fees or commitments, just the opportunity to have fun and make use of our excellent facilities.

The club boasts a 4 acre site that includes a full-size football pitch, a multi-use games area, and a pavilion. The pavilion serves as a community area and features a kitchen, toilets, and changing rooms. Built in 2011, the multi-use games area is equipped with a Matchwinner artificial surface, rebound fencing, and floodlights. It is marked for football, tennis, and basketball/netball, providing a year-round sports area available until 10pm, seven days a week.

Whether you want to join one of our teams or simply challenge your friends, Bradwell Sports Club offers fantastic football facilities. When the weather permits, our well-maintained marked pitch is available for use. Alternatively, our new multi-use games area, complete with floodlights, allows for year-round play until 10pm. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings while engaging in the beautiful game.

A single tennis court can be booked on our multi-use games area. Nets are available and may need to be set up. Enjoy a friendly game of tennis and take in the picturesque scenery.

The multi-use games area is not limited to football and tennis. It can also be used for netball or basketball. Throughout the summer, we offer fully coached multi-sport activities for children, utilising the equipment provided. One of our most exciting events is the Bradwell Festival of Football, which took place in July. Supported by Grants from Acclaim Housing Group and Councillor Twigs' Leadership fund, this event featured training sessions run by UK Sports Coaching in the morning for children in the Hope Valley. In the afternoon, tournaments were held for all age groups, with trophies won by our Senior and Junior Clubs on display. It was a wonderful celebration of the beautiful game and our community.
