Pete Douglas wants to share a quick note about the Bradley Stoke Judo Club with the sports community.
Located in South Gloucestershire, the club has been a staple in the local sports scene since October 1999. Over the years, it’s grown into one of the top judo clubs in the UK, racking up an impressive 25 national gold medals amongst other achievements.
Pete and a team of seasoned coaches run the club. They offer classes for everyone—from beginners to elite athletes, no matter your age or skill level. They focus not just on competition success but also on the personal development side of judo, emphasising respect, discipline, and teamwork.
The club’s got a range of classes tailored to various skill levels and age groups, so there's something for everyone. They even have special programmes for cadets, aimed at giving structured training and guidance.
On the admin side, the club has all the necessary forms, including membership for the upcoming year and codes of conduct for parents and judoka. This helps ensure everyone’s on the same page regarding the club’s values and expectations.
Want to show your support? You can grab some club-branded merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories. It’s a great way to represent the club.
If you need more information or want to get in touch, feel free to contact Pete at 07831 682 685 or Nick Brace at 07966 310 413. You can also drop an email to bradleystokejudo@gmail.com. The club operates out of the Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre in Bristol.
Pete’s passionate about the transformative power of judo and believes there’s a spot for everyone at Bradley Stoke Judo Club, whether you're just starting out or are looking to compete at higher levels.
