At Bradford-on-Avon Sailing Club, we offer a wide range of activities and events for sailors of all levels, from beginners to experienced racers. Whether you are looking to learn how to sail, improve your skills, or compete in thrilling races, our club has something for everyone.

One of the highlights of our calendar is the annual Presentation Evening and Annual General Meeting (AGM). This event, held at The George in Woolley, is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our members and present awards. As a member of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), we adhere to their Rules of Sailing. We encourage all our members, especially those preparing for racing in 2024, to familiarise themselves with these rules. You can find a summary of the rules under the Sailing Docs tab on our website. And remember, the first rule of sailing is “Don't crash into another boat, even if you have the right of way!

We are proud to have participated in events such as Bart's Bash, a global sailing race, and the Studland Coastal Sail Weekend. These events provide our members with exciting opportunities to test their skills, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sailors, and experience the thrill of sailing in different locations.

If you are new to sailing, we offer a Try Sailing Course that allows you to get a taste of this exciting sport. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics and ensure you have a fun and safe experience on the water. It's a fantastic way to start your sailing journey and make lifelong memories.

We also believe in creating a welcoming and social atmosphere at our club. Our members enjoy not only the thrill of sailing but also the camaraderie that comes with it. Our clubhouse is a hub of activity, where you can relax, socialise, and share stories with fellow sailors.
