Join Olympia Gymnastic Sports' Boys Recreation gymnastics classes and develop strength, flexibility, and coordination. These classes are focused on all 6 Men's Gymnastics apparatus including Floor, Pommel, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bar, and High Bar.
Olympia Gymnastic Sports' new recreational gymnastics program will be starting from Term 1 2024. The program has been redesigned to develop fundamental movement skills and gymnastic-based skills for Artistic, Rhythmic, and Trampoline. It offers challenges and opportunities for children of all ages and abilities, providing a cohesive and logical progression.
Whether your child is a preschooler or a teenager, there is a suitable entry point for them in Olympia Gymnastic Sports' program. Get started with the program and watch your child grow in confidence and skills through gymnastics. You will receive an email advising the best placement for your child into the new framework.
Moveskills, Gymskills, and Yourskills are the new levels of progression in Olympia Gymnastic Sports' recreational program. Gymnasts will be placed at the level that suits them best, between one and ten, with the option to specialise in Rhythmic from level one and trampoline and boys (MAG) specific recreation from level three.
Term 1 of the 2024 program runs from Monday, January 29th, to Sunday, April 14th. The term consists of 10 weeks for Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday classes, and 11 weeks for Wednesday and Thursday classes. Please note that there will be public holidays and gym closures during this term.

Moveskills, a class covering Olympia Gymnastic Sports' Recreational Program Levels 1 & 2, is an introduction to gymnastics sports. In this class, gymnasts will learn physical preparation and fundamental skill patterns using various gymnastics apparatus such as trampolines, beam, bar, floor, rings, and P-bars. These skills will provide a strong foundation for gymnastics and life, setting children up for success in other Olympia recreational pathways such as Artistic, Rhythmic, and Trampoline. The class duration is 1 hour and the cost for the term is $181 based on a 10-week term.
Boys Recreation is a class specifically designed to teach male gymnastics apparatus. In addition to fundamental gymnastics movements and skills, boys will learn the basics of rings, p-bars, pommel, bar, and floor. The class duration is 1 hour and the cost for the term is $181 based on a 10-week term.
