Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy offers the GB Boxing Awards programme, a fantastic opportunity for individuals of all abilities to learn the skills needed to coach boxing. This one-day course is perfect for teachers, personal trainers, students, and anyone interested in coaching boxing.
The great thing about this programme is that it doesn't require any previous boxing experience. Of course, if you've been to a local boxing club before, that would be a bonus. Throughout the course, participants will be assessed, and there is a pass/fail grading system in place. But don't worry if you don't pass on your first attempt, you can redo the course within a year for free!
This course is not only beneficial for individuals, but it can also support ASDAN GCSEPE, BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and The Prince's Trust Award. So, if you're a student or a teacher, this is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and qualifications.
For just £100, participants will receive all the necessary course materials, including a boxing tutor guide, coaching booklets, a boxing tutor DVD, and a completion certificate. Once you've successfully completed the course, you can even register with England Boxing as a boxing tutor. How great is that?
Now, we understand that not everyone will pass on their first attempt. But don't worry, if you're graded as a 'Conditional Pass', you'll just need to complete some additional work before you can obtain your certification. We want you to succeed, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
