Lawn Bowling Club is a welcoming community located in the beautiful Calgary neighbourhood of Hillhurst. Established in 1932, the club has a rich history and has been recognized as a historical resource by the City of Calgary. The club is run by dedicated volunteers who strive to provide recreational and social opportunities for members, guests, and rental groups.
Bow Valley Lawn Bowling Club offers an inclusive and relaxed environment for people of all ages and skill levels to come together and enjoy the sport of lawn bowling. The club features one professionally maintained green with six rinks, providing ample space for members to play and socialize. The bowling season runs from May through October each year, weather permitting.
In addition to bowling events, the club also hosts social gatherings, including annual memberships that include access to a variety of social activities throughout the year. The clubhouse, which overlooks the green, is available for rent year-round for both members and the public. It is fully equipped to host a wide range of events and gatherings.
