Are you the owner of Bowls Orewa?

Bowls Orewa is a vibrant and friendly lawn bowls club located in the picturesque North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. With over 251 members, it boasts the largest number of playing members in the North Harbour region. Nestled on the edge of the Western Reserve, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Orewa Beach, Bowls Orewa offers an idyllic setting for bowlers of all levels.
The club features two artificial carpet greens, one of which is covered, and one natural maniototo green. This allows bowlers to practise and compete year-round, regardless of the weather. Whether you're a seasoned bowler looking for some competitive action or a beginner eager to learn the sport, Bowls Orewa has something for everyone.
For those new to the sport, the club offers summer coaching sessions. These sessions are arranged based on individual availability and provide an opportunity for new bowlers to learn the basics and develop their skills. Club bowls are available on loan to beginners, and all essential gear is provided. Advanced skills coaching is also available on Monday evenings.
If you prefer a more relaxed and social approach to the game, Roll Ups are held every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon. Teams are drawn, and you'll have the chance to play two games with a break in between. It's a great way to enjoy a friendly game of bowls while meeting new people.
In addition to its excellent playing facilities, Bowls Orewa offers spacious and licenced clubrooms that can be hired for special events and corporate functions. Whether you're planning a team-building session, a birthday party, a Christmas function, or a wedding, the club can cater to your needs. Its wide range of facilities can accommodate events of any size.
Bowls Orewa also has a rich history that dates back to its establishment. The Orewa Men's Bowling Club was founded in 1950, with D. Mount serving as its first president. The Orewa Ladies Bowling Club was created a few years later in 1954, with F.
Wilson as its first president. In 2006, the two clubs merged to form Bowls Orewa, electing Sylvia Bramble as its first president. This amalgamation marked a significant milestone in the club's history.
Bowls Orewa is not just a club; it's a community of passionate bowlers who come together to enjoy a sport they love. Whether you're a seasoned player or a complete beginner, you'll find a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere at Bowls Orewa. So come on down and experience the joy of lawn bowls in the beautiful surroundings of the North Shore.
