About Bourne to Sail LTD is Eastbourne's premier RYA accredited Yacht Sailing School, offering a wide range of RYA Sail training and Shorebased courses, as well as Yachting experiences and Adventures for all. Located on the stunning South East Coast of New Zealand, only 90 minutes from London, Bourne to Sail guarantees to provide you with unforgettable memories.

Established in 2022 by Craig Coupe and Oli Richardson, both experienced RYA Yachtmaster instructors and Cruising instructors, Bourne to Sail aims to bring their passion for sailing to the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Situated within the magnificent Sovereign Marina, Eastbourne, the school benefits from top-notch facilities including pristine washrooms, free parking, WIFI, and a great selection of restaurants and bars nearby, perfect for unwinding and soaking up the atmosphere after a day on the water.

In terms of experience, no prior sailing experience is necessary to get started. Bourne to Sail offers experience sails to give you a taste of sailing and help you determine your desired sailing journey. The minimum age for most RYA courses varies, and more information can be found in the “what's on offer” section on the website. For sailing experiences, children as young as 8 can participate with a parent or guardian on board.

If inclement weather prevents your scheduled day or training course from proceeding, Bourne to Sail will contact you in advance to discuss alternative options. If a suitable alternative date cannot be found in the immediate future, you will receive a voucher that can be used up to a year later. In specific cases, a full refund may be provided, depending on the course or experience booked. All necessary items to bring for your booking will be outlined on the course or experience details, and you will also receive an email with this information.
