Bournemouth Poppies Football Club

Welcome to Bournemouth Poppies Football Club, the home of football in Bournemouth. We are a club that provides youth football for players of all ages, starting from Under 8's and going all the way up to our Under 18's team.

Our club is committed to providing a clear pathway for our players to progress and develop their skills. From our Under 18's team, players have the opportunity to join our Development Team, which consists of under 18's and under 23's. The Development Team competes in the Hampshire Combination West Division, offering a competitive men's football programme for our talented youth players.

The men's section of our club plays their home matches at Victoria Park, located in Bournemouth. Known as “The Poppies”, our team has a rich history, dating back to 1875 when we were originally called Bournemouth Rovers. The ground at Victoria Park has a capacity of 3,000, providing an exciting atmosphere for our matches.

We invite you to come and support our Men's First Team as they compete in the Wessex top League, which is at Step 5 of the Non-League Pyramid. In addition to league matches, you can also catch our team in exciting cup matches such as the FA Vase and the FA Cup, as well as the Wessex League Cup. Home matches take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:45pm and Saturday afternoons at 3pm.

Our club prides itself on our player pathway progression, and we celebrate the achievements of our players. We have recently seen Josh Mantle, a striker from our Development Team, continue his progression by joining Phill Brow. We also welcome back former Poppies keeper, Sam Reilly, who has returned to Victoria Park to be part of our goalkeeping group. Furthermore, we are delighted to announce the signing of Aiden Enver, a talented striker who has previously played in the Swedish D2 with Sodertarlje F.
