Welcome to Boulder UK, a premier rock climbing gym located in Preston. Our mission is to provide an inclusive state-of-the-art bouldering facility that motivates new and experienced climbers to realise their full potential. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned climber, Boulder UK has something to offer for everyone.

Bouldering is a form of climbing that does not require ropes or harnesses, as it takes place close to the ground above matting. It is an excellent way to tone-up, get fit, and develop key fundamental skills such as balance, flexibility, and strength. Moreover, bouldering is a highly sociable activity, where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to climb. It's a great opportunity to meet new people and make lasting friendships.

At Boulder UK, we offer a wide variety of indoor rock climbing walls that cater to climbers of all levels. From slabs to super-steep overhanging walls and everything in between, our facility has it all. With over 150 problems available, we constantly update and set new problems at every grade every week. These issues range from V0 (very easy) to V8+ (very difficult) and are equipped with a diverse selection of holds, including brand new comp holds and classic rare shapes.

We also provide a range of additional services and amenities to enhance your climbing experience. For junior climbers, we have dedicated programmes such as junior clubs, development squads, and an academy for those looking to take their climbing to the next level. Additionally, our gym and rock training areas have all the necessary equipment, including free weights, campus boards, fingerboards, and 11 circuits from f6a to f8c. We even have digital 45 and 55 Beastmaker boards for those seeking a greater challenge.

If you're new to climbing or just want to brush up on your skills, we offer bouldering inductions, lessons, and taster sessions for both adults and juniors. Additionally, our expert route-setting team ensures that you always have fresh and exciting problems to tackle. We are proud to have some of the best route-setters in the country, including our in-house setters Jamie Swales and Neil Mawson, as well as national BMC competition route-setters Dave Barrans, James Garden, and Alice Thompson.

Beyond climbing, Boulder UK also has a blog where climbers can share their experiences, training trips, and upcoming events. We believe in fostering a strong community and regularly feature guest posts from climbers who have visited other renowned climbing destinations.
