Bosei Judo Academy (Annex Judo Academy)

The Bosei Judo Academy (Annex Judo Academy) is a well-established judo school located in Toronto, committed to promoting the art of Kodokan judo. Our club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for judo practitioners of all levels, from beginners to international competitors. We pride ourselves on being a community-based club that focuses on recreational judo while also providing opportunities for those interested in competitive judo.

Our judo classes are conducted in a multilevel format, allowing both novice participants and elite athletes to train together in a spirit of cooperation and mutual growth. We cater to a wide range of age groups, with members spanning from 5 to 70 years old. We offer separate classes for adults and children, as well as combined sessions where our entire judo family can train together.

At the Bosei Judo Academy, we follow the principles set out by the founder of judo, Jigoro Kano, encouraging our members to walk a single path, staying humble in victory and resilient in defeat. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to nurturing the skills and character development of each student, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the mat.

Located within the gymnasium at Royal St George's College, our club is easily accessible via public transit or by car, with free parking available on most training days. We offer free trial classes by appointment only, giving prospective members the opportunity to experience our training environment before committing to regular classes.
