Booker Gym Club, under the stewardship of Jane Davies, a passionate and dedicated organiser, has been a cornerstone of the High Wycombe sports community for many years.
Jane is proud to extend an invitation to all members of the sports community to explore the diverse range of classes and programmes the club has to offer. Located in High Wycombe, Booker Gym Club caters to individuals of all ages and skill levels, promoting health and fitness through various engaging activities.
At the heart of Booker Gym Club is a top-notch gymnasium, equipped with the latest apparatus to ensure members have a safe and effective workout environment. The facility is spacious and meticulously maintained, providing a welcoming space for everyone to work towards their fitness goals. For young children, the club provides preschool classes aimed at building confidence, balance, coordination, and social skills. Led by experienced instructors, these sessions are both educational and enjoyable, laying a solid foundation for future fitness pursuits.
School-age children have the opportunity to join after-school recreational classes focused on fitness through fun activities. These classes not only help develop essential physical skills but also allow gymnasts to earn recognition through the British Amateur Gymnastics Association (BAGA) award scheme, celebrating their progress and achievements.
Parents with toddlers can look forward to the Tumbling Toddlers programme, specifically designed for those just starting to walk. These sessions introduce toddlers to gymnastics in a fun and engaging manner, helping them develop balance, coordination, and social skills using various hand-held equipment.
The club also offers exciting holiday camps, providing a blend of educational and entertaining activities. Covering all aspects of gymnastics along with other fun activities like rhythmic gymnastics, circus skills, dodgeball, and parachute games, these camps are open to children aged 4 to 10 years old. Non-members are welcome, making these camps a wonderful opportunity for friends to join in the fun.
