Lynne Bristow has been practising massage therapy since 2000, having trained locally with ITEC and IIHHT. She has a wealth of experience, having worked at prestigious locations such as The Grand Hotel in Torquay and with private clients across Cornwall and Somerset. Lynne is also a qualified Pilates Instructor, having obtained her certification with distinction in mat and equipment elements through The Pilates Foundation in 2002/03. She trained and worked at The Scott Studio in Castle Cary, Somerset, a leading UK training studio, teaching mat and equipment classes and assisting on the teacher training course.

She has also worked at The Plymouth Chiropractic Clinic and Torbay Hospital.

Lynne's background as a former soloist with the Royal Ballet and acclaimed contemporary dancer brings a unique depth to her work. Her massage therapy and pilates instruction are influenced by her movement techniques and her time studying Chi Gung in London and Thailand.

In addition to matwork Pilates, the studio offers Pilates Reformer tuition. The Reformer is a piece of equipment that utilises the resistance of springs and pulleys to assist and challenge the body during exercises. This form of Pilates optimises strengthening, stretching, awareness, alignment, and balance.
