BluePrint Performance is an elite hybrid training centre located in Kirkintilloch, Glasgow, offering exceptional functional fitness courses and custom-made strength equipment. The state-of-the-art facility is designed with two separate training areas to meet the diverse fitness needs of its clients.
The first area is dedicated to Class Based CrossFit Coaching, providing high-intensity training designed on a 60-minute timeline and delivered by a Level 1 CrossFit Instructor. This programme focuses on preparing individuals to be ready for anything. The second area offers a more traditional Strength and Fitness Space equipped with barbells and plate-loaded machines. This space is perfect for those who prefer classic strength training and functional conditioning.
BluePrint Performance offers five distinct training programmes that cater to a wide range of fitness levels and goals. Clients have the freedom to tailor their training to suit their needs. They can choose to focus solely on CrossFit, work on their strength, prepare for competitions, or mix and match programmes. Programming for each programme is available daily through the Wodify App and is included with all memberships.
In addition to the variety of training programmes, BluePrint Performance provides services such as nutrition counselling, personal training, and sports massage. These offerings ensure that clients have the support and guidance they need to achieve their fitness and strength goals.
BluePrint Performance also offers Yoga classes in collaboration with Rachael Antoniou in their studio, providing a well-rounded approach to fitness and wellness.
Membership options at BluePrint Performance cater to different training needs and budgets. The “Foundation” membership costs 75 and allows for the use of 13 sessions each month, granting full access to all five programmes and the Wodify Mobile App. The “Structure” membership costs 85 and offers 26 sessions each month, while the “The Works” membership costs 95 and provides 39 sessions per month. Both these memberships provide full access to all programmes and the app.
BluePrint Performance is led by an experienced coaching team, headed by Alan Wilson, the Owner and Head Coach. Alan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having started his career as a professional footballer and competed at a UK level in CrossFit. He has been coaching for over a decade and has grown BluePrint Performance into the community that it is today. Alan holds qualifications such as CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 Instructor, CrossFit Strongman, CrossFit Football, and British Weightlifting Level 1.
Another valuable member of the coaching team is Martin Carr. With 10 years of experience, Martin is an excellent motivator who genuinely cares about helping clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential. He dedicates a significant amount of his time to working with children and young adults, running CrossFit Kids classes during school holidays and being involved with local high schools and sports teams. Martin holds qualifications such as BSc(Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science, CrossFit Level 1 Instructor, and Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
