Impulse Leisure - Corringham, a well-known Fitness club in Stanford-le-Hope, is excited to promote an upcoming local Fitness event! This event is all about promoting the importance of giving blood and supporting the wonderful initiative of the Civic Hall.

The Civic Hall, a prominent venue in our community, regularly holds Blood Donor sessions. These sessions are typically scheduled for Wednesdays, making it convenient for many to participate. The timings are set between 1.30pm and 7.30pm, allowing for flexibility in your schedule.

Giving blood is an act of kindness that truly saves lives. It serves as a vital lifeline in emergencies and for people in need of long-term treatments. Every single day, over 6,000 blood donations are required to ensure that patients across England and North Wales receive the medical assistance they urgently require. Imagine the impact we can make!

To make this initiative even more successful, we're encouraging more young people, especially those aged 17 and above, to start giving blood. By doing so, we can increase the pool of potential donors and ensure a steady supply of blood to those in need. In fact, an estimated 200,000 new donors are needed each year!

Wondering if you're eligible to become a blood donor? Well, it's great news for most of us! Individuals between the ages of 17 and 65 are generally eligible to give blood. So, if you fall under this age bracket, we encourage you to join us in this noble cause and make a difference.
