After injuring her back in 2009, Kath was determined to overcome the pain and regain enjoyment in life. Through exercise, she discovered its transformative power. This motivated her to become a personal trainer and share her passion for fun, group training sessions. In 2013, Blitz Fit was established, and Kath has been dedicated to helping people find joy in exercise ever since. Her boot campers affectionately call her the Smiling Assassin, as she pushes them hard while creating a positive and enjoyable environment.
Melissa, another experienced trainer at Blitz Fit, brings over 25 years of fitness industry experience to the team. With a Bachelor degree in Sports Science and a Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Melissa is highly knowledgeable in women's health and metabolic disease. She is passionate about delivering exercise interventions to the ageing population, and finds fulfilment in helping people reach their goals and make a tangible difference in their lives. In her free time, Melissa enjoys running various distances, from 5 km to full marathons, and is actively involved in Parkrun. She also has two Dalmatians and four chickens, showcasing her love for an active lifestyle.
