With a vision of being affordable, approachable, and successful, the club offers a range of programmes and teams for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.
For the youngest players, the club offers the Auskick programme, designed for kids aged 5-10. This introductory programme focuses on fun and learning, with drills, games, and parental involvement. There is no scoring, tackling, or bumping, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
As players progress, they can join mixed teams in the under 9 and 10 age groups. The focus here is on development, with Sunday morning games consisting of four 12-minute quarters. There is no time-on, and players are grouped into three zones – attack, mid, and defence. The emphasis is on skill development rather than competition, and modified tackling and contact rules are implemented.
For older boys in the under 11 to 14 age groups, the club offers youth boys teams. These teams participate in Sunday morning competitions, with four 15-minute quarters and no time-on. Players are not restricted to specific zones, and up to 18 players can be on the field at a time. Tackling is permitted, and girls are also welcome to play in these teams.
Full scoring and ladder systems are in place, and finals series are held.
Similarly, the club offers youth girls teams for under 10, 12, and 14 age groups. These teams follow the same format as the youth boys teams, providing opportunities for girls to play and compete in a supportive and inclusive environment.
