Welcome to Blackbirdleys A. B. C, the longest running boxing club in Oxford. Founded in 1960 by Len Lee, the club is open to everyone, regardless of race, religion, or sex.

Blackbirdleys A. B. C is run entirely by volunteers, and all of our coaches are fully qualified and England Boxing-affiliated, with first aid certificates and DBS checks.

At Blackbirdleys A. B. C, we believe in promoting discipline and fitness to all who attend. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can learn and develop their boxing skills while also improving their overall fitness.

Our coaches are dedicated to helping members achieve their goals and provide expert guidance and support during training sessions.

We are proud to have been awarded a grant from Sport England, which has allowed us to enhance our support to the local community. This grant has enabled us to provide peer mentoring, train more coaches, and purchase new equipment, ensuring that our members have access to the best resources as they pursue their boxing journey.
