Join Black Rock Life Saving Club as an Active member and dive into a world of exciting volunteer activities. At our club, we believe in equipping our members with the necessary skills to achieve their Bronze Medallion Lifesaver Award, while also offering opportunities for growth in lifesaving, leadership, and sports.

For all you seniors out there, get ready to kickstart your patrol and summer surf sports training in early October. This will lead you on a path towards the coveted bronze award course for new members in late November. And fear not, existing members, as there will also be a skills assessment for you in early December. Our training and patrolling activities continue to keep our beaches safe until early April, making sure our members stay sharp and ready for any situation that may arise.

Now, let's get to the good stuff – the sports! Our program boasts a variety of fitness and competition skills that will leave you feeling like a true athlete. From swimming and board skills, to mastering the art of the ski and excelling in beach sprints and flags, our club offers it all. Oh, and did we mention board and tube rescues? We've got those covered too. We also prioritise fitness stamina, because keeping our members fit and healthy is a top priority.

But wait, there's more! We understand that different members have different interests and aspirations, which is why we have additional training sessions scheduled throughout the season. These sessions cater to those who wish to compete at pool carnivals, IRB carnivals, and R&R carnivals. Whatever your niche may be, we've got the training to help you excel.
