With approximately 80 members, Bitton Park Bowling Club welcomes people of all ages and abilities who are interested in joining the club and participating in the exciting sport of lawn bowls. Bitton Park Bowling Club actively participates in various leagues and competitions. Currently, the club fields two teams in the Men's Mid-Devon Bowling League, two teams in the Men's Over 55's League, and two teams in the South Devon Ladies Bowling League. Additionally, the club competes in County and National Competitions, alongside a busy schedule of tourist matches and friendly fixtures.
The club boasts one of the finest bowling greens in Devon, offering the opportunity to play on up to seven rinks. The green is managed by our own members, with professional guidance from Tim Wakeham. The clubhouse is equipped with a newly refurbished kitchen, enabling the club to provide a wider range of refreshments, including the traditional tea and biscuits. There is also a well-stocked bar for members' enjoyment.
Bitton Park Bowling Club takes pride in its spacious and comfortable changing facilities, separate for men and women. The club has a long-standing tradition of hosting the Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament, which takes place in September each year.
