Bitton Archers is a vibrant and inclusive archery club located in Bristol, New Zealand. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced archer, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from our dedicated team of members.
As a target archery club, we have a diverse range of members who shoot a mix of compound, longbow, flatbow, horse bow, barebow, and recurve bow styles. While some individuals prefer to shoot several types, we don't shoot them simultaneously! Our members span across various age groups, ranging from under 10 to over 70.
At Bitton Archers, we prioritise skill development and maintain a strong coaching programme. We have one County Level coach and eight coaches qualified to Level 1, ensuring that our members receive expert guidance and support to enhance their archery journey.
We are fortunate to have two shooting locations. Outdoor shoots are held all year round, weather permitting, at Bitton AFC, which is conveniently located on the A431 near the Avon Valley Railway Station. During the months of October to March, we also provide indoor shooting sessions at The Park Centre on Daventry Road in Knowle.
